NO BONES ABOUT RESISTANCE BANDS

Resistance BandsOne excellent exercise program for Osteoporosis is Strength Training. In this type of training, the force your muscles exert on your bones helps to strengthen them. Therefore, by strengthening your muscles you also stregthen your bones.

Strength training can be very beneficial if done on a regular basis. Some good, inexpensive strength training equipment available to you are dumbbells, kettlebells, and resistance bands.

However, if you have osteoporosis or any chronic condition, resistance bands are your best choice.  Although, we do recommend that you speak to your doctor first before commencing such a program.
